Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 – A modder’s paradise?
The MasterFrame 600 is Cooler Master’s newest “Premium” PC case, and it will act as the core of the company’s new “FreeForm 2.0” platform. This case is the start of a new series of PC cases from Cooler Master. This series aims to turn Cooler Master into a more premium brand, providing a frame that can be used for high-performance PCs with almost infinite customisation options.
To say the least, Cooler Master is promising a lot, and in this review, we will be seeing if Cooler Master delivers. To say the least, we think Cooler Master has fallen short here, and you will see why if you read on. First, let’s run though some basic specifications and features.
Silver and Black
The MasterFrame 600 is available in Black and Silver. The silver version ships with ARGB Sickleflow fans, and the Black model ships with Black non-ARGB Mobius series fans. Both cases support Mini ITX, Micro ATX, ATX, XL-ATX, and E-ATX motherboards. In other words, this case is compatible with nearly all commercially available motherboards. It also supports graphics cards up to 485mm long and ships with a GPU support bracket.
A core aspect of the MasterFrame 600 is its aluminium frame. This frame is the core of Cooler Master’s new FreeForm 2.0 philosophy. This frame provides the MasterFrame 600 with its structure, and it will be used in a variety of Cooler Master cases moving forward.
FreeForm 2.0
Using their FreeForm 2.0 “Exo-Structure” design, Cooler Master’s MasterFrame PC cases are incredibly adaptable. This allows users to change the locations of their PC’s motherboard tray, PSU mounts, and other components. Users can also replace the exterior panels of their PCs to give their systems a new look. Over time, this should allow MasterFrame case owners to make huge changes to their systems, both functionally and aesthetically.

Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 Customisation
At Computex 2025, we got to see Cooler Master’s Masterframe chassis in several unusual configurations. Below we have two configurations that use a (currently unreleased) vertical GPU mount. These builds highlight the customizability of Cooler Master’s MasterFrame chassis and how additional parts can enable the creation of crazy PC builds.
Out of the box, MasterFrame users can configure their case and move their system’s PSU mounts to the top of the chassis. Note that this case ships with a GPU support out of the box for both it Black and Silver models.

Motherboard and Radiator/fan support
The MasterFrame 600 can support all standard motherboard types. This includes Mini-ITX, Mini-DTX, DTX, ATX, XL-ATX, and E-ATX. The case has three locations where liquid cooling radiators up to 420mm in size can be fitted. This enables the creation of ultra-high-end liquid cooling setups, providing users with ample space for fans and cooling.
MasterFrame 600 Pricing
Un Europe, the MasterFrame 600’s MSRP is $199. In the UK, the case is already available through Scan UK for £169.99. Both colour options have launched with the same pricing levels, giving neither model a price advantage.
