MSI shows off Project Zero GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Ventus GPU at TGS
MSI has built a “hidden connector” RTX 5070 Ti for its Project Zero lineup
At the Tokyo Game Show, MSI has showcased a Project Zero variant of its GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X graphics card. This GPU features a “hidden power connector” design, which allows users to invisibly route their GPU power connectors to the rear of their systems. This means that this GPU has no ugly power cables visible from your case’s side panel window.
This style of “hidden connector” design isn’t new. Sapphire’s Radeon RX 9070 XT Nitro+ (review here) has a similar setup. This GPU’s power connector is hidden behind a removable section of the GPU’s backplate. This makes the power connector easy to access while making it practically invisible during use.

MSI’s Project Zero graphics card is a prototype. Currently, it is unknown if or when MSI plans to officially release Project Zero graphics cards. One benefit of MSI’s design is that it is usable with all motherboards. Unlike ASUS’ BTF graphics cards, this GPU does not need a custom motherboard-to-GPU power connector. MSI’s solution allows users to have ultra-clean systems with minimal hassle.
