G.Skill launches new Flare X5X DDR5 memory modules with tuned AMD EXPO subtimings
G.Skill has expanded its range of new AMD EXPO-ULL memory modules with fine-tuned subtimings that maximise Ryzen CPU performance. With compatible CPUs, motherboards, and BIOS revisions, this memory kit can deliver increased system performance in memory-constrained workloads.
With its new Flare X5X memory kit, G.Skill are offering DDR5-6000 speeds with CL36-36-36-76 timings across two 16GB modules. This 32GB memory kit targets gamers who want strong memory performance and better performance than standard AMD EXPO memory kits. That said, these memory modules are more mainstream than G.Skill’s previously released AMD EXPO-ULL Trident Z NeoX RGB memory modules.
These new Flare X5X modules feature a minimalist design that lacks RGB lighting or other unnecessary flourishes. This memory features a black PCB and a black, low-profile heatsink. Sadly, G.Skill did not include pricing in their press release.
To access this memory’s maximum performance, gamers will need to enable this kit’s AMD EXPO ULL timings in their BIOS. This means they will need a compatible motherboard BIOS, as older revisions may lack AMD EXPO ULL support. With compatible hardware, you can access the fine-tuned memory subtimings available with AMD EXPO ULL modules, enabling enhanced memory performance.
