ASRock unveils ultra-high-end X870E Taichi White AM5 motherboard
ASRock expands its AM5 motherboard lineup with its new X870E Taichi White model
ASRock has officially launched its new X870E Taichi White motherboard, a high-end offering ready for AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 Dual Edition and other future AMD Ryzen CPUs.
On the hardware side, the X870E Taichi White features a robust 24+2+1 phase VRM, a 110A SPS power design and dual PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (x16 or x8/x8 modes). For connectivity, it features 10GbE LAN, 802.11be Wi-Fi 7, and dual USB4 Type-C 40 Gbps ports. This enables ultra-fast and low-latency data transmission. It also includes a 64 MB BIOS ROM, providing support for future AM5 processor upgrades and ensuring long-term compatibility and platform flexibility.
With its 64 MB BIOS ROM, this motherboard is “future-ready”. This should enable easy support for next-generation AMD Ryzen AM5 CPUs and future BIOS enhancements.
This motherboard features one “Blazing M.2” PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot and three “Hyper M.2” PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. This motherboard also features three SATA 3 6 Gb/s connectors. Users should install their fastest SSD in the M2_1 PCIe 5.0 slot on this motherboard.
This motherboard isn’t ASRock’s first White Taichi AMD product. Earlier this year, ASRock released its Radeon RX 9070 XT White Taichi graphics card. If you want a GPU that matches this motherboard, it’s a perfect match.
