DLSS 4 support comes to Oblivion Remastered through DLSS Override

Nvidia DLSS Override support lands for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

– Here’s our guide on enabling DLSS 4 in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered using the Nvidia App and DLSS Override.

Nvidia’s GeForce Evangelist, Jacob Freeman, has confirmed that DLSS 4 support is available in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered thanks to Nvidia’s DLSS Override feature. This allows the game to support Nvidia’s Transformer DLSS Super Resolution implementation and Multi-Frame Generation.

With DLSS Override, all RTX GPU users can utilise Nvidia’s Transformer-based Super Resolution model to achieve higher quality upscaling results. Furthermore, Nvidia RTX 40 and RTX 50 series GPU users can utilise Nvidia’s more efficient DLSS Frame Generation implementation. For RTX 50 series users, DLSS Multi-Frame Generation is also possible.

Without DLSS Override, Oblivion does not support Nvidia’s newest DLSS models. Thanks to DLSS Override, Nvidia RTX users can force the game to use the newest version of DLSS.

Thanks to a new driver update from AMD, RDNA 4 GPU users can now enable FSR 4 in Oblivion Remastered. This has allowed the game to become one of the first titles to launch with day-1 FSR 4 and DLSS 4 support. That said, both are using driver overrides to enable support for these upscalers.
