Anyone with even a passing notion of the ASUS AURA Sync lighting knows how good it is and the Fusion 500 is no exception. Rather than just show the standard primary colours we’re instead giving you a few of the more subtle, inbetween colours it’s capable of. Things like turquoise, hot pink and mint green aren’t as easy to replicate on RGB systems as the Fusion 500 makes it look.

The headset also supports colour changing via an app on your phone, and can support multiple headsets. If you’ve all got a Fusion 500 then you can quickly match up team colours for your gaming event of choice. Not useful for the majority of us, but a nice feature to have as gaming – sorry, eSports – moves towards the mainstream.
