Unsurprisingly when you have this much audio hardware able to talk to each other there is a fair amount of cabling that you’ve got to deal with. Naturally for the sake of speed we’re just tying it together until it works, but it’s fair to say that the ones amongst you who want tidy cables at all time have a certain amount of work ahead of you.

The front cable on the Switchmix is the headset, with the speakers on the left of this first shot, the headphone stand and switch in the middle and the Switchmix to PC USB cable on the right.

The long Relay headset cable also contains an inline remote volume and mute, and will probably be the most difficult element to tidy away due to the very nature of it being easily accessible.

The Switchmix has a customisable RGB indicator so you can see at a glance what your current audio options are, both in terms of volume and output. The speakers and headset have a separate volume too, so you don’t need to worry about blowing your ears out unexpectedly.
