APNX V2 PC Case Review
Conclusion
The APNX V2 is an excellent PC case
The APNX V2 is a cracking case. Its design is a little unusual, but its design elements make it clear that the APNX team knows what it’s doing. Furthermore, it’s clear that the APNX team are considering new/future PC hardware.
With its three tempered glass panels, the APNX V2 is stunning. Users can view their hardware from a huge number of angles, and overall PC airflow is well considered. Its four pre-installed 140mm fans provide ample airflow out of the box, and its radiator mounting options offer users a range of options for CPU and GPU cooling. Be it a custom liquid cooling loop or multiple all-in-one liquid coolers, PC builders have plenty of options.
The V2’s variable PSU mounts and back-connect hole covers make this case perfect for users of both standard and rear-connect motherboards. The case’s inclusion of a GPU support also ensures that it is ready for the largest, heaviest, and most power-hungry graphics cards. Its four 140mm intake fans also ensure that installed GPUs are adequately cooled.
Tonnes of glass and great airflow? APNX has proven that PC cases can have both
If you’re in the market for a great-looking case with GPU-focused airflow, the APNX V2 is a solid option at £124.99. There’s no shortage of cases that look worse and have less airflow for this money. If you like the “maximum glass” aesthetic but want good airflow, this is an excellent case option. APNX wanted to maximise its use of glass panels while keeping prices reasonable and maintaining good airflow. APNX can consider these goals achieved.
For the V2, we aren’t giving one of our standard awards. TTL, TinyTomLogon, “The Guv’nor”, or “That bloke from the YouTubes” is giving his case his own seal of approval. This is a good case, to the extent that OC3D’s big boss is willing to associate his name with it. That should go some way to show how impressed Tom was with this case, and I agree with him.
