Although the specifications for the heat sink give it’s height as 158mm, it does actually measure in at at 164.5mm in height., with a width of 121.8mm and a depth of 136.1mm  As you can clearly see in the images below, the fins are in fact natural Aluminium as opposed to the black ones seen on the cover of the box.

The cooler is of the classic fan-heatsink-fan-heat sink sandwich design that seems to work so well, with the 120mm fans being attached by simple spring clips, which for some reason are black, which makes them stand out more than they should.  A little bit of us wonders whether the MA620P was originally intended to have black fins, but a later date the idea was ditched in favour of natural ones, only nobody told the graphic designer or the chap responsible for the spring clips…

The cooler comes with a pair of MasterFan MF120 RGB fans, which they claim are designed with a “Combination of jet engine and Helicopter blades”.  Mmm really?  Either way, they are pretty and sure do seem to shift some air

The six 6mm heat pipes rise evenly spaced within each tower of the cooler.  This even spacing is something that we’ve seen work better than those cooler which bias towards the centre or the edges of the fin stack.

Although the fins might not be black, the stack is topped off with a nice angular plastic capping.

The heat pipes make direct contact with the top of your CPU though what CoolerMaster call CDC 2.0 technology.  Again, we’ve seen this type of contact method work quite well in the past.

CoolerMaster have also added a small heat sink which is integral to the mounting plate.  Not a new idea, but one that can only add to the heat dispersion.
