Noctua go all black for Computex 2018

Redux – A Hyper 212 competitor

Noctua’s Redux line is designed to offer fans a lower-cost to deliver a low-cost entry point into the Noctua ecosystem. The Redux brand is now moving into the heatsink market, with Noctua planning a lower-cost derivative of their NH-U12S, bringing the brand into a lower price bracket with a few notable design tweaks.

This prototype unit, for example, has had its aluminium heat fins press-fitted and not soldered onto its attaches heatpipes, and Noctua plans to remove one or two heatpipes from the final version of the NH-U12S Redux, allowing the unit to enter a lower price bracket and potentially become a Noctua value performance champion in the CPU cooling market.
