Noctua go all black for Computex 2018

Ready for a new socket – Bring on LGA 3647!

Most PC enthusiasts have read about Intel’s socket LGA 3647 socket, Intel’s high-end enterprise CPU socket that can support up to 28 processing cores and 56 threads.

Most of us will now know this socket as the platform responsible for Intel’s insane 28-cores at 5GHz demo, the socket where Intel will release their future ultra-high-end-desktop processors in Q4.

Noctua is ready for this new socket, with new air coolers that should be more than capable of handling these CPUs at stock. Intel’s demo ran using below ambient liquid cooling, which means that Intel’s staggering 5GHz demo will be all but impossible for most end users, leaving stock performance or a moderate overclock as the only viable option.
