AMD Ryzen 5 2600X and Ryzen 7 2700X Review

AMD Ryzen 2nd Generation Ryzen 5 2600X and Ryzen 7 2700X Review

CPU Temperatures

Normally stock coolers are only good for making the box heavy and are no use at all as actual coolers. Not so with the new 2nd Generation Ryzen CPUs though, as the stock Ryzen 5 cooler just about keeps things under control but the better one included with the Ryzen 7 2700X performs very well. Our non-stock cooler results are on our usual AIO, and demonstrate how much more relaxing owning a better cooler is. Although for those on a very tight budget it’s good to know that a 3rd party cooler isn’t quite the priority it normally is.
