One of the newest arrivals to the world of benchmarks, ALLBenchmark’s Catzilla is already a popular option for those looking to test their systems. With a dubstep sound track and mutant cats there’s not much that can beat Catzilla in terms of entertainment.

The 7850K performs marginally better in the tests here than the 6800K, but certainly nothing to write home about. RAM speeds and adding the R7 250 do result in some fairly hefty performance gains however. The 7700K on the other hand with 1600MHz RAM wasn’t able to complete this test at all, regardless of the preset. We’ll put that down to a bug in the benchmark itself rather than the processor, but it is worth noting. When we come to faster RAM speeds and adding the R7 250, we do see the results we’d expect; the 7850K ahead of the rest of the APUs, with the 7700K trailing ever so slightly behind.
