Beneath the ROG Eye embossed heatspreader are four M.2 slots for all your speedy storage requirements. The fifth is tucked away.
We are really keen on the fact manufacturers have solved the M.2 installation problem. No more tiny screws and stands. Putting it beneath the display is a cool touch too.
We don’t yet know the power stages that lie beneath this hybrid air/water VRM heatsink. We’d expect around 20 100A stages, but this far before release details are thin on the ground, even to us.
Lighting
As well as some cool lighting on the left, the top-most M.2 heatsink has a built in monochrome screen you can play with.
The famous ROG logo. We think the big text at the side is enough to clue you in. It is still cool, though.
