ASUS ROG Strix Z890-A Gaming WiFi Overview

The packaging for the Strix A certainly leaves you in no doubt as to what you’re getting. Crisp white box with a crisp white product image. Lovely. Okay the silver text on a white background isn’t going to make Mr Magoo happy, but otherwise it’s fine.

Whilst the Strix Z890-A doesn’t quite sit at the same height of the ASUS range as the Maximus models do, you still get a nice selection of ROG accessories. The white WiFi antenna is perfect for those of you who put your white PCB in a white case. The boss then.

Speaking of a white PCB the Strix A not only has that, but also a lot of the heat sinks are white too. We know how popular silver seems to be on white motherboards, so we like that ASUS have made them largely white. Shame about the black plastics.
