ASUS X399 ROG Zenith Extreme and Ryzen 1950X Threadripper Review

Gaming

We’ve had so many people demanding we include a bunch of old CPUs in our graphs that we’ve stretched our gaming one to its limits. For future reference if you can’t see your CPU or GPU on the graph it’s probably because its so bad it’s dropped off the bottom. Nobody would expect their old Barton core to match up to the Ryzen, so why do people care about their old FX CPUs? Hmm. Anyway, the problems we saw on the previous two pages are kinda nullified here. The Zenith Extreme and Threadripper combination don’t break records, but they’re also not hugely disappointing. Although if you plan on playing Total War : Warhammer we’d definitely look elsewhere.
