The Aorus logo has always been attention grabbing and on a box as large as that within which lies the X399 Aorus Extreme it is doubly arresting. The front is big and bold whilst the reverse manages to highlight all the key features without dissolving into incoherence. You’re definitely left in no doubt about what the X399 Aorus Extreme brings to the party.

The addition of a lid within the lid is a recent development in the world of packaging and Gigabyte have used this canvas to express a sentiment which is as valid a battle cry to the human race as a whole given the current world situation as it is something simple for gamers. We should all team up and fight on whilst politicians destroy the world around us to remind them who is really in charge.

Within the box is the full range of accessories that you would expect to find on such a premium motherboard, starting with the thick and detailed manual, some cable ties, and the all important driver CD.
