The biggest current benefit to the PCI Express 4.0 bandwidth is to be found in the realm of storage devices, and clearly the Aorus Xtreme is a smooth operator in this regard with as near as makes no difference 5 GB/s read speeds and a whopping 4.2 GB/s write speeds on our M.2 drive. We’re not sure we’ll ever tire of such performance.
