We mentioned in the pages preceding this how we thought that Gigabyte had got a winner on their hands with the design of the X570 Aorus Xtreme and clearly the methodology their R&D team have employed has been a successful one. 4.4 GHz from our Ryzen 9 3900X is a staggering amount of performance to get from 12 cores and speaks to both the solidity of the power design on the Xtreme as well as the benefits the 7nm process AMD have brought to the table with the 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs.
