Futuremark’s PCMark benchmarks are great for testing the overall performance of a system. Tests include processor performance, web browsing, documents and image manipulation to name a few, and the results should indicate how well the processors are affecting the overall system.
PCMark here gives a good all round indication of the PC’s performance in multiple tasks, and clearly the Sniper is marginally more capable of achieving these tasks than our basic board. Overclocking sees a reasonable performance increase here for both boards, but certainly more so on the Sniper.
