OpenCL

Open CL is an aspect of of computational power from the processor which AMD has worked heavily on with the current generation of APUs.

LuxMark

The results here are very close through the CPU and GPU only testing. The Sniper does pull away in the GPU only test at stock. However, the cheaper board does seem to perform a little better in the CPU + GPU testing which is strange.

Musemage

This is the first time we’ve seen the Sniper significantly ahead of the cheaper board at stock levels. We see around a 15% performance increase between the Sniper and the F2A88XM-DS2 at stock, and far more when overclocked.

BasemarkCL

BasemarkCL is a relatively new test that isn’t really available yet for public use. However, it does offer a range of different applications that may utilise OpenCL and so it does give a good indication of the all round performance of the processors.

  
Stock tests here are very close between the cheaper board and the Sniper. When overclocked, the Sniper does pull a little further ahead of the DS2.
