Core i7-7700K Overclocking

The i7 was remarkably similar to the i5 in almost every way, it easily acheived a 5GHz overclock with 1.31v and also managed to hold the lofty 3866MHz memory at the same time.  We did find that the i7 was consitantly warmer during testing despite the fact that we were running a Corsair H110i GT 280mm cooler we did see temperatures going over the 80C mark. This does mean if this is the CPU for you and you want to tickle its voltage balls for that extra performance you are going to need to make sure that you budget for some high quality cooling to keep everything in check without crazy amounts of fan noise.
