With Sandra being amazing at separating the CPU from the rest of the hardware, it's not a great surprise to see the latest Intel Broadwell-E CPUs dominating proceedings. The surprise has to be how well the i7-5960X still does, despite being a generation behind. The benefits of a thousand pound CPU we expect. Still, if you rely on your processor to have massive calculative capabilities then there is no doubt than the new eight and ten core models are the ones to have.

Nice review, although I'm quite happy with my 5930K boosting to 4.0 GHz on 1.017 volts
