The default Core i9-13900KS looks like this. But we know you’re here to discover if it really can push on to 6 GHz.
To which the answer is yes. As you can see. It will boost one or two of the cores to 6 GHz without any user intervention. This should have some benefits in our tests, although we’re not expecting it to dominate at a hilariously high level because it is just some cores that boost this high, usually two.
If you’re willing to do some manual tweaking it’s possible to get 6 GHz across all of the P-Cores. Naturally we don’t recommend this unless you’ve got a particularly exotic cooling solution. So much so we’ll reserve our overclocking tests for another day. Watch this space.
