Introduction

The MSI MPG Z890 Edge Ti WiFi is available in two primary formats. The full size ATX motherboard is the one we’re looking at today. If you prefer a cut down version MSI do offer an ITX version. Whilst Intel’s latest Ultra 200 range of processors was decent it hasn’t really caught the public’s imagination. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t a lot of extremely attractive Z890 motherboards around though.

In fact, if you’ve been checking out our coverage you’ll have seen the flagship models and some of the more affordable options. Today’s preview is the MSI MPG Z890 Edge Ti WiFi which fits snuggly into the middle of the MSI range. In case you didn’t know their most affordable ‘named’ models tend to be in their MAG range. The MPG fits the middle options, whilst the MEG is for the flush, thick walleted amongst you.

As you can already see from our introductory image, the Edge is white. Guaranteed to pique the interest of the boss. You might also have spotted the richly saturated, crisply edged, MSI Dragon. We’re so used to manufacturer logos being sheared, glitched, or otherwise not being normal that the impact of the MSI Dragon is profound. As is customary here at OC3D we know that looking at it in the flesh will say infinitely more than any words can. Thus we have the specification table for those of you who enjoy such things, and we’ll be covering all of them as we go over the Edge Ti WiFi in detail.
