AMD RX Vega 64 and Vega 56 Review

Normally we highlight the stock card in blue and the overclocked one in green. However, for today’s review we have two cards – the Vega56 and Vega64 – at three clock speeds; Balanced Power Mode, Turbo Mode and Manual Overclock. Therefore for clarities sake, and to stop our graphs looking like a rainbow, we’re showing the Vega56 in blue and the Vega64 in green. Fortunately (?) the performance in all three modes is close enough that the cards stick together either way.

Starting with 3D Mark Fire Strike and the Vega64 find itself in GTX 1080 territory whilst the Vega56 is closer to a GTX 1070. If you cast you eye a little further down you’ll see we’ve retested the Fury X with the latest drivers, and they make a huge difference to the performance of that card.
