Dark Souls 3 PC Performance Review

1440p Testing with AMD R9 Fury X and Nvidia GTX 980Ti

At 1440p we see very similar results to 1080p, with Dark Souls 3’s performance being mostly limited by the game itself. Only at max settings do we see notable dips below 60FPS, which even then always maintains a framerate that is always above 50FPS.   

With the lack of any major visual improvements when moving above medium I would advise most gamers to just play the game at medium, which will allow you to experience the game with no real performance dips when using the GTX 980Ti or R9 Fury X.
