4K Screenshot Graphical Comparison

Below we can again see that there is a major difference between the lowest and highest settings, though only a minimal difference between Medium and higher settings.

The largest differences when moving from Low to medium are seen in the water, where the water gains a much more fluid look and gains reflections from the major lighting sources. We also see that the player gains a shadow and that this shadow becomes much more defined as you move up the graphical settings.

In this set of screenshots we can see the central hub world of Dark Souls 3, where the different graphical settings only make a minimal visual difference, with the most notable changes being due to the addition of SSAO in the environment.

Dark Souls 3 has very good art design and a beautiful, but desolate, world. While these are not the most impressive visuals that we have ever seen the world has definitely had a lot of work put into it.
