GTX 980Ti and R9 Fury X performance at 1080p

Moving onto today’s flagship GPUs, the Nvidia GTX 980Ti and AMD R9 Fury X, we see that both GPUs perform very similarly at 1080p, with both GPUs being almost indistinguishable during gameplay.

When looking at the average and minimum framerates we can see that both GPUs perform very similarly, with both GPUs being more than 4FPS apart at any given moment. With the playing field being so level with DirectX 11 it will be very interesting to see how the situation changes with DirectX 12, especially since this game will be making use of DirectX 12 Asynchronous compute.
