The first outing for Aloy was a transformative gaming experience. Fantastically written and a great setting, it was sublime. Gaming as it should be. If that wasn’t enough, the graphical finesse set new standards at the time, and still look fantastic today. It’s also a good demonstration of raw rasterising performance.
