Nvidia RTX 5090 FE Review

DLSS 4 – Alan Wake II

If you’ve even partly been online you’ll be aware of Alan Wake II. Sam Lake’s survival horror game not only is a tense mindscrew, but the dance sequence reached memetic levels. We’re here for the visuals though, and they’re outstanding. It has path-tracing, utilises ray-reconstruction and supports all of Nvidia’s technological breakthroughs. Demonstrating how good multi-frame-generation is, you can turn on Frame Gen x2 and pathed ray-tracing and get the same FPS on the RTX 5090 as the RTX 4090 does with no ray tracing at all.
