VRAM Usage

Below is a graph showing the amount of VRAM that was used on our GTX 980Ti GPU when playing The Technomancer at all of our tested settings and resolutions. 

We can see that at low, medium and high settings at 1080p that the game does not use more than 2GB of VRAM, making this game suitable for even low-end GPUs. Ultra settings will require users to have 4GB of VRAM on their GPUs without the game reverting to lower texture settings in-game.

4GB GPUs will be suitable for up to 1440p Ultra settings though only just, with 4K Ultra settings consuming almost 5GB of VRAM.  

When a GPU does not have enough VRAM in The Technomancer the game will automatically revert to a lower texture setting in game, preventing the game from becoming VRAM limited but preventing the player from seeing the game at the highest texture settings. This is why our R9 Fury X GPU is able to run The Technomancer at 4K Ultra settings without running at 1 or 2 FPS.
