1080p Testing with AMD R9 Fury X and Nvidia GTX 980Ti

When gaming at 1080p we can clearly see that Nvidia’s GTX 980Ti has a huge performance advantage over AMD’s R9 Fury X, though both GPUs maintain average framerates of over 100FPS at up to high settings.  

At Ultra settings both GPUs almost manage to maintain constant 60+ framerates, with AMD’s R9 Fury X dipping only slightly below 60 with a minimum framerate of 56FPS.

Most gamers should be playing this game at High settings, only turning up the texture quality to ultra if their GPUs have enough VRAM to handle it. Our high settings give a great balance between performance and visual quality, with max settings having a much larger performance impact than most would be willing to accept.
