Zotac RTX 5080 Solid White Edition Review

Heavy RGB lighting has always been something we debate in the office. We understand that it’s a key part of high end hardware’s feature set, but similarly you don’t pay big money on a graphics card to look at your case. You spend it to look at the eye candy on the screen. Thankfully the Zotac Solid White Edition has enough so you don’t feel cheated, but not so much it is distracting.

Three huge fans ensure that the card is kept cool at all times. A cool card lets the GPU Boost work harder, which brings higher performance. It’s a win all-round.

At the back we have a fairly simple layout with the Zotac logo and big cut out. We like how you can see the bronze card brace through the gap. Very attractive.

Who doesn’t love a huge brace keeping the card straight and level? The balance between it, the gorgeously straight fins beneath, and then the white shroud is *chefs kiss*. We really like it.

Look at it from the underneath doesn’t diminish the attractiveness.

Here we find, from left to right, the RGB lighting sync cable port, the Dual-BIOS switch, and of course the 12VHPWR connector.

Lastly around the back brings us the standard Nvidia output selection consisting of three DisplayPorts and a single HDMI.
