ASUS ROG Keris Wireless Mouse Review

ASUS ROG Keris Wireless Mouse Review

Software

ASUS software has never been the best around, in fact it’s probably the weakest part of the brand, and the Armoury Crate is no exception. You get a choice when installing to go with a full package including AURA Editor, or just the software. You need to install all of it before it does what it should, and even then plugging in the mouse requires a reboot, and once that’s happened you still need to install the update and reboot again. Then the software is super laggy moving between the left hand tabs. ASUS need to look at Corsair iCUE or SteelSeries Engine to see how a proper multi-use software can be done.

However, once the initial faff is out of the way – admittedly something that bothers those of us who change things all the time for reviews than it will bother you – it is powerful and easy to use. Just not as quick to get going as the others. Tinkerers beware.
