Dark Core RGB SE Wireless Mouse

The Dark Core RGB SE has seemingly every available tool in its bag of tricks. In its simplest terms the 16000 DPI sensor and Omron switches are regular features of seriously high end mice. The Dark Core also has some wireless options too, starting with Bluetooth connectivity which can get down to around 8ms response time, but perhaps most importantly is the standard 2.4 GHz Wireless which can get all the way down to a wired-level of response time at a mere 1ms. Admittedly that’s in ideal conditions, but unless you’ve wired your nervous system into the mouse you’ll find that more than adequate. After all, to see something, make a decision, send the signal to your finger and then click takes around 200ms for the best players, an additional 2 or 3ms here and there wont significantly alter your ability to dominate. Keeping the mouse charged is easy with the full Unplug and Play kit as the mouse can be charged with the Qi wireless system.

It’s fair to say that the side of the Dark Core is one of the coolest design solutions we’ve come across. Instead of just going with regular buttons and maybe a two or three stage LED, the DPI stage LEDs are their own separate entity and the thumb side buttons clearly look like few others. With three buttons on the side you can adjust them to best fit your grip style and thus ensure the most comfortable and “right beneath your thumb” accuracy solution that helps you hit the high score table.

Swappable side panels is starting to become a regular feature on certain mice and the Dark Core RGB SE is no exception. It’s a great way to ensure that it suits the largest possible audience whilst also giving you some freedom to try a different grip style without having to splash out on a mouse that might not suit you. After all, if you never try you’ll never know.
