The first thing you can do by turning the big screw at the back is adjust the height of it. You might consider this a small element but for those of us who have been typing for 30 years it’s helpful to give the angle between your wrist and your palm any help it can get, whilst for those of you who haven’t been plagued by RSI a more comfortable spot helps elminate any future problems.

Speaking of which, the smaller palm rest if you happen to have smaller hands or use a claw grip and want as little interference as possible. You could of course just take it off entirely, but there is a smaller one should you need it.

Lastly between the DPI button and the palm rest is the weight slot into which you can place up to four of the included weights to ensure the 700M Evo is exactly as heavy as you desire.
