Glorious Forge Pro Golden Panda Wireless Review
Introduction
Glorious Gaming first appeared on the market back in 2014, as a Dallas based company aiming to shake the market up, by providing designs which fit the needs of the gaming market without having enormous feature sets people didn’t necessarily want that came with similarly enormous price points. You probably first became aware of them with their range of mice that was at the cutting edge of lightweight designs. If you ever wondered why so many mice suddenly came to market with body cut-outs in a quest for lightness, you have Glorious Gaming to thank.
Just like many companies have their extreme arm, so Glorious Gaming have their Forge. This is very much a limited run of products that fit a particular segment of the market. Something like Kickstarter. It allows them to really synergise their product range with the desires of their rabid fanbase. When you’re dealing in low volume production it’s a perfect business model. We’ve all seen items that were very nearly what we wanted but came with a compromise somewhere. With the Glorious Forge there are no compromises to be found, and they are very reactive to their userbase.
The Model O Pro we have for review today is part of their Forge range. Available in three colours, Red Fox, Blue Lynx and the Golden Panda we have here. As you can see from the image above it’s a stripped down mouse with the focus upon crisp buttons, super accurate sensor and a lower weight than a supermodel who’s been lost in the desert for a week. Let’s take a look.
