NZXT Lift Elite Wireless Mouse and Zone Elite Mousepad Review
Introduction and Technical Specifications
Introduction
If you looked at the NZXT Lift 2 Symm mouse we reviewed in February last year, and wished there was a wireless option, NZXT have listened. Kinda. The Lift Elite is a slightly different design, with the mouse having been shrunk in length somewhat leaving a more ‘squat’ appearance. What hasn’t changed is the simplicity.
Often we see mice that follow the ethos that more is better. You get ever heavier mice with umpteen buttons and all sorts of lighting options. That’s all well and good but sometimes those extraneous features can get between you and your game. Usually to get a mouse that is simpler than the heavy hitters you’re compromising on another element to achieve that. With the NZXT Lift Elite there are no compromises necessary. You get a mouse with all the buttons you need, a stripped down weight to minimise fatigue and a sensor as beefy as required by all but the most hyper-accurate gamers.
One element we think is a particular highlight is how responsive the Lift Elite is. You get 8000Hz if you connect it via the wired cable. Should you want to make use of the wireless mode then the newest NZXT mouse is still capable of giving you 4000Hz polling rate. Massively impressive. Given that it boasts the 26000DPI PixArt PAW3395 sensor and weighs a featherweight 57g, then responsiveness is very much the motto of the Lift Elite Wireless. Let’s take a look.
