Swarm Software

The installation of the Swarm software is teeth-grindingly annoying. Install Microsoft NET 4.5, reboot, install Microsoft C++ libraries, install the software, load it up only to be greeted with this. So then you install the module, plug the mouse in via the USB cable to update the firmware and finally you are up and running. It’s not exactly the swiftest procedure in the world.

Thankfully once you do finally get up and running the Swarm software is up to Roccat’s usual standards with everything easy to access and customisable to your own personal preferences. If you only want a single DPI you can untick the boxes and lock the mouse down, freeing up the DPI button for alternate assignments.
