Steelseries Apex Pro Keyboard Review
OLED Display Options
The OLED display hides many tricks up its sleeve. A long press upon the button brings up the menu and from there you have five options with plenty of submenus too, all controlled with the wheel acting and choice and selection, whilst the main button acts as the back button. There are simple methods of adjusting the lighting whether you want to scroll through the main colours most people will use, adjust the brightness, or even flick to one of the pre-designed setups.
Cue Mr Jimi Hendrix.
As well as the lighting you can control most things from the OLED display including your macros, profiles and even a factory reset if you were so inclined.
Finally the key actuation distance, the show piece of the Apex Pro, is easily adjustable from on board as well as within the Steelseries Engine software. Perfect if you require different sensitivity for different applications.
