Steelseries Rival 600 Mouse Review

Steelseries Rival 600 Mouse Review

Introduction

The first Steelseries mouse that absolutely wowed us was the legendary Sensei. It won our mouse of the year after all. There have been a few Steelseries mice since then either adjusting the Sensei formula or being wholly new things, but the Rival range really put them on the map. It all started with the flagship Rival 700 which utilised a OLED display, swappable sensors and vibration feedback. We’ve also reviewed the Rival 500, a mouse aimed at the MOBA/MMO crowd with plenty of customisable side buttons in a compact package. Most recently we reviewed the Rival 310 and Sensei 310, two different chassis takes upon the latest Steelseries TrueMove 3 sensor.

Which brings us neatly to today’s review of the Rival 600. Bringing the worlds first dual sensor to the party, the Rival 600 has one sensor to perform the 1:1 response whilst another solely concentrates on the lift off distance. Combining this with an adjustable weight system so good we would rather show you than tell you and multiple RGB lighting zones and, on paper, it looks like the Rival 600 is yet another quality mouse from Steelseries. Let’s find out if that’s the case in live play.
