Kingston H20 6GB 2000MHz DDR3 Review
HyperX H20 Up Close
The HyperX H20 comes in a slightly larger packet than normal but it’s still the default RAM packaging.
The heat-sink itself is curious being black rather than the standard Kingston blue, but blue on the inside. It seems an odd choice to stray from the brand identity they’ve established, but the large HyperX H20 logo at least leaves no room for doubt.
The most important part of a a water-cooling based heat-sink is the water pipe and the Kingston has a very attractive one, with 6mm barbs on the end. They very nearly run the length of the DIMM and it’s strange to see purely horizontal connectors on a RAM sink. Hopefully that wont cause installation issues.
The heat-sink is designed to help focus the heat upwards so that the water running through the top can dispense with it in the most efficient fashion.
