OC3D At Gamescom 2024 – Setup with be quiet! and Corsair
Gamescom 2024 Setup with be quiet
OC3D at Gamescom 2024
OC3D is at Gamescom, and this year we have managed to get into the event early. This has allowed us to get an rare look at the monumental effort that goes into setting up events at this scale. With the sheer volume of deliveries coming in, there was cardboard as far as the eye can see.
Gamescom 2024 setup with be quiet
Since we are in Cologne, it would be rude of us not to go see our friends over at be quiet! The last time we visited be quiet was at Computex in Taiwan, as always, the company emphasised just how German they were by offering attendees beer from their homeland. At Gamescom, we see their usual levels of national pride with the words “developed in Germany” prominently positioned above their booth.
Sadly, we arrived a little too early to see many of be quiet’s latest products at their booth. That said, we will be returning to be quiet to get a look at their wares later today. For Gamescom, be quiet have partnered with Zotac Gaming to share their booth space. That means that we should be able to get hands-on with Zotac’s new ZONE PC Gaming handheld at this booth in the near future.
Below we have one of be quiet’s new Light Loop CPU coolers. Specifically their white 240mm model. These CPU coolers are due to become available next month, and AMD Ryzen 7000/9000 users can look forward to optimised cooling performance thanks to be quiet’s custom offset cooler mounts.
At Gamescom, be quiet has a dedicated gaming area that they are sharing with Zotac. This area will host a range of gaming systems that feature Zotac graphics and be quiet cases, power, and cooling. Today, this area is being set up, but you will be able to see it in action later this week when Gamescom opens up.
Tomorrow, this are will be filled with gaming hardware and eager gamers.
Meet LeetDesk
One thing we noticed at the be quiet booth is that they enjoyed working with local companies. Below, we have an RGB gaming desk from LeetDesk, an up and coming manufacturer of gaming desks and accessories. We hadn’t heard of the company before Gamescom, but they are certainly on our radar now.
The model shown below appears to be the company’s LeetDesk Aura, an RGB illuminated desk. Note that the 512 LEDs on this desk are individually controllable, and can b synced up with PC lighting, Hue, Nanoleaf, and other RGB products.
be quiet has always been a strong supported of German drinks, and at Gamescom Spezi is getting some recognition. Sadly, Spezi is not available in the UK. That means that we will only be able to enjoy this native soft drink while we are here.
