Meet the ROG Loki SFX-L PSU

Being an SFX-L PSU, the ROG Loki measures in at 125 x 125 x 63.5mm, making this PSU much smaller than standard ATX power supplies. Keep these dimension in mind when purchasing an ITX PC case, as some cases on support SFX PSUs of a limited length. That said, if your case claims support for SFX-L PSUs, the Loki will fit.

The ROG Loki is easily the best looking SFX power supply that we have ever looked at, and in the picture below we can even see ASUS’ ROG branded PSU heatsinks, which are a testament to the fact that ROG takes the inside of their PSUs as seriously as their outsides.

At the rear and sides of the ROG Loki, there are RGB illuminated ROG and Republic of Gamers logos that are visible to users. While the main ROG eyes at the sides of the PSU are not RGB, they are stylish with their mirror-like finish. This is a PSU that demands a PC case where it will be at least somewhat visible. That said, most ITX cases tend to hide their PSUs out of sight.

The cables of ASUS;’ ROG Loki PSU have a premium feel, almost having a waxy texture. These are not the usual nylon or cotton feel that other braided PSU cables have. These cables feel nice to hold, and don’t feel like they will wear out or fray quickly.

Below we can see the ROG Loki’s 12VHPWR (12 Volt High Power) connector, a cable that is also known as a PCIe 5.0 power cable, or simply as a 16-pin PCIe power cable. This cable can provide up to 600W of power to Nvidia RTX 40 series GPUs. Thus far, AMD has not adopted this new cable standard with their latest Radeon GPUs.
