1440p Performance

Moving up to 1440p we can see that our usual 1440p test hardware continues to perform well, with only our RX 480 Strix achieving sub-60FPS minimum framerates. Every other GPU we tested was able to achieve a constant 60+ FPS, with Nvidia’s GTX 1080 and 1070 GPUs achieving average framerates of over 100FPS.  

Those with higher end hardware can even afford to turn up a few more graphical settings and still maintain a solid 60+ FPS framerate, which is great news for high-end PC gamers. Even so, it is difficult to tell the difference in High and highest settings outside of a side-by-side comparison, outside of factors like texture detail.
