The visual difference between Destiny 2’s graphical presets can be very difficult to spot outside of a side-by-side comparison, especially when players are not hugging the walls and terrain to judge texture detail.
One of the biggest graphical changes that can be seen in Destiny 2 is the increase in Texture detail when moving through each graphical preset, especially for wall details parts of the game’s terrain.
Lighting, shadows and Ambient Occlusions will also have a huge impact on the scene, though the game doesn;t exactly look bad when playing at lower graphical detail settings, ugly textures aside.
Destiny 2 players can easily enjoy a pleasing experience graphically at lower graphics quality presets, especially if they have enough VRAM to play the game with higher resolution textures.
