Diablo IV needs to be cranked up to 8K to get modern high-end GPUs to dip below 60 FPS, but modern upscaling technologies like DLSS and FSR 2 can easily make 8K 60+ FPS gaming a reality for this title.
Both Nvidia’s RTX 4090 and AMD;’s RX 7900 XTX can deliver 8K 60+ FPS gaming experiences with DLSS and FSR 2 respectively, with gamers being able to push average framerates above 100 FPS when using the higher levels of upscaling. While we do not expect many gamers to play Diablo IV at 8K, know that it is possible with high-end hardware, though we will also say that high framerate 4K gaming will give gamers a better overall gaming experience.
