Diablo IV PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

Diablo IV PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide

Diablo IV is hugely scalable on PC

With a variety of resolution upscaling options and a wealth of graphical options, Diablo IV can run well across a variety of gaming PCs. To prove this, we played the game at 4K using Nvidia’s RTX 2060 6GB Founders Edition graphics card, a GPU that we do not typically recommend for modern games due to its small 6GB frame buffer.

Below, we have tested Diablo IV’s Low, Medium, High, and Ultra presets a 4K at a native 4K resolution, and at 4K with DLSS set to Balanced mode. Below are the results.

Again, we have tested Diablo IV in Kyovashad. Our benchmark runs take 60 seconds each, and they involve walking though the temple of light and down into the city.

For 4K 60+ FPS gameplay, RTX 2060 users will have a great experience running Diablo IV at High settings with DLSS set to balanced mode. To say the least, Nvidia’s RTX 2060 is not considered a 4K-ready GPU, but Diablo IV is so easy to run that even it can deliver a great gaming experience at 4K.
