DLSS Tested – Is it worth it in Crysis Remastered?

Crysis Remastered Performance Transformed - Patch 1.3.0 Delivers Huge Gains

4K Performance

As it currently stands, without DLSS, Nvidia’s RTX series graphics cards cannot outperform their AMD-based counterparts. AMD’s RX 6800 bests Nvidia’s RTX 3070 by a significant margin and our RX 5700 can handily surpass Nvidia’s RTX 2060. With DLSS, Nvidia can level the playing field.

Sadly, even at 4K, DLSS cannot give us a smooth 60 FPS framerate at 4K High settings. Crysis Remastered is a CPU-limited game, and that limits the potential of DLSS as a performance-boosting technology. That said, DLSS still provides a large boost to framerates.
